How we make money

Sooner Fortified Roofing is free for homeowners. We are paid a referral fee by the professional we match you with. This fee never increases the price you pay for your project.

The short version

You never pay us. When you submit the match form, we forward your details to an independent local roofing professional who pays us a referral fee for the introduction. That fee is our entire business model, and it is paid by the contractor, not by you. It does not get added to your project, and it does not change the bid you receive.

Why we tell you this

Because a referral fee can create a bias, and you should know it exists so you can judge our guidance accordingly. Two things keep that bias in check. First, we route you toward the roofers most likely to do good FORTIFIED work in your metro, because a bad match ends the relationship that pays us. Second, everything factual on this site is cited to a primary source, the Oklahoma Insurance Department, the statute, or IBHS, so you can check our claims against the record rather than taking our word for them.

What the fee does not buy

It does not buy a place on the state OKReady approved roster, which is set by the Oklahoma Insurance Department, not by us. It does not buy a FORTIFIED certificate, which only an independent evaluator and IBHS can issue. And it does not change your insurance discount, which is set by 36 O.S. section 962 and your carrier. Those are the parts that matter to your wallet, and none of them run through us.
